For those visitors that arrive at Gran Canaria airport at the first time, they can take a “Global Bus—Line 60” blue bus to Las Palmas city and get off it in Parque de Santa Catalina Bus Station (buses leaving from the airport at X.15 hour, X=6,7,…,19) or in San Telmo Bus Station (the rest of buses). It is a 25 minutes journey. If you get off at San Telmo Bus Station and your hotel is in Las Canteras beach, you need to take a yellow bus from the bus station to Las Canteras.

Alternatively, you can use a taxi from Gran Canaria International airport to your hotel (35-40€).

There is public buses between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria city and the Campus of Tafira. You can take “Global Bus—Line 327” that stops in front of the Informatics and Mathematics Building (frequency: 20 minutes). The Euro-Par 2008 participants that stay in hotels near Las Canteras beach, bus stop “Estacion Santa Catalina –Andιn 68 (in English: Santa Catalina bus station, track 68)” is the best choice.

Alternatively, the Line 25 of yellow buses communicates Las Palmas de Gran Canaria city with the Campus of Tafira and has a bus stop in front of the Informatics and Mathematics Building (frequency: 20 minutes). The Euro-Par 2008 participants that stay in hotels near Las Canteras beach, bus stop “Jose Mesa y Lopez” is the best choice.

Additionally, you can get the Humanities Building using the yellow buses lines 2 and 81, which stop at the Plaza del Obelisco (stop name: Tomas Morales).

The Organising Committee will provide a bus that will pitch up participants at the hotels to take them to either the Humanities Building (only Wednesday 27th morning), or the Informatics and Mathematics Building of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at the Campus Tafira (Monday 25th, Tuesday 26th, Thursday 28th, Friday 29th morning).
